[Maine-birds] Dickcissel Downtown Portland

I had a very unexpected Dickcissel in downtown Portland this morning in the trees along the weedy overgrown edge of the parking lot next to Hub Furniture and across from Fore St. Restaurant, on Fore Street between Pearl St and Franklin St. No bins, but unmistakable vocalizations.

This is one of those spots with just enough vegetation and a few trees to support a flock of House Sparrows, which persist year round on a stream of tourist bread crumbs from nearby Standard Bakery.
