First time visiting this patch for a while despite it being close to my house. There was a decent amount of activity in the weeds and brush that has grown up since they thinned out the woods. A Fox Sparrow that was with a group of White-throated Sparrows was the most unexpected find of the visit.
I also birded my neighborhood and turned up several large mixed groups of sparrows with high numbers of White-crowned Sparrows mixed in.
