A good day for a birding jaunt to the Schoodic Peninsula.
We observed 4 Greater Yellowlegs in the Frazier Point area.
Other nice sightings included a soaring Sharp-shinned Hawk above Schoodic Head, 3 Harlequin Ducks and a female Northern Harrier near Schoodic Island.
Remnants of that incredible weeks-long autumn sparrow invasion were still around at Blueberry Hill with White-crowned and White-throated hanging around with Yellow-rumped Warblers and a single Ruby-crowned Kinglet.
