Hi all - Highlights of the day today include the following:
-- Yellow-rumped Warblers at home (SWHbr) and at Cable Crossing Road in Manset. 7 of them actively feeding at the latter location, where fermenting seaweed and swarms of tiny insects seem like a perfect set up for lingering migrants.
Turkey Vulture overhead in SWH.
Semipalmated Plovers (7) at Cable Crossing Road
Merlin, Laughing Gull (2), Chipping Sparrow (2) and Brown Creeper at Seawall and Seawall Campground
Evening Grosbeak (1 f.) at my home feeder, briefly. First located by its call. First of the year for me.
Cheers,
Craig K
