[Maine-birds] Saco Yacht Club still hot!

This morning, I headed down to the trail behind the water treatment facility next to the Yacht Club.  Found Nashville Warbler, Orange-crowned Warbler, western Palm Warbler and Ruby-crowned Kinglet, all of which are late.  Eastern Bluebirds and American Tree Sparrows also easily found.  A good number of birders were present, so lots of eyes scanning the thicket.  The Nashville and Orange-crowned were working the same thicket on the steep hillside to the left of the trail.  I was told a Northern Shrike had been seen earlier by the group.  No sign of the Winter Wren by the time i took off...

By the way...I had trouble at first finding my way in, i erroneously drove into the treatment facility itself which is at the very end of the road...so FYI if you haven't been there and want to go:  Park at the Yacht Club lot (public boat ramp) BEFORE the treatment facility and then walk on the sidewalk along the water towards the treatment facility.  the sidewalk will take you to the trail which is outside of the fenced-in facility.  GOOD LUCK!
