A fabulous day to be out!
-- Still present in a watery dip in a field along Boom Road, Biddeford, a Eurasian Green-winged Teal (Common Teal) was hard to miss with its horizontal racing stripe. Also seen were Eastern Meadowlarks, Tree swallows, Killdeer and Kestrel.
A Red-shouldered Hawk with buffy crescent windows on the outer wing, and a single Greater Yellowlegs were seen from the bridge on Eastern Rd. Two Wilson's Snipe obliged behind Pelreco.
The Phoebe train must have pulled in last night as Eastern Phoebes were heard in good numbers at numerous stops. Palms, Pines and YRump trains coming next.
