[Maine-birds] Feathers Over Freeport: A Birdwatching Weekend, April 27-28

Hi all,

 

I just wanted to extend an invitation to everyone to join us for the Third Annual "Feathers Over Freeport: A Birdwatching Weekend," at Bradbury Mountain State Park in Pownal (4/27) and Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park in Freeport (4/28).  We have a full weekend of events, from birdwalks for all ages to a hawkwatch workshop to live raptor programs!  And all are absolutely free (with regular park admission)!

In addition to new activities such as a Vernal Pool "splash," this is the official Maine event for the "Pledge to Fledge" global birding initiative."  I hope you'll take a moment to visit the P2F page (click on the logo on the top of the page at the link above) and join me in taking the pledge to promote birds and birding to everyone.
