[Maine-birds] Need A Bird Friendly Home

This will be an odd post. But I just received notice that I must get rid of my bird feeder--or be evicted! Even though there is nothing about it in my lease.The property manager is concerned about the seed attracting mice. But the birds bring me so much joy I am willing to move to keep that pleasure. Does anyone know of low-cost, bird-friendly place I could rent or house sit? I currently pay $900/mo but would like something lower as this is a stretch for me. I can send particulars about myself if anyone is interested. Thanks!
