[Maine-birds] NORTHERN LAPWING near Poland, Maine, 6 May

Hi Folks,

I'm relaying word from Doug Hitchcox via Robbie Lambert via the finder (don't know name yet) that there is one of the long-sought northbound NORTHERN LAPWINGS in Maine. The bird is in a plowed field next to Range Hill Road at the intersection with Carpenter Rd. This is nw. of Gray on Rt. 26 in se. Poland. The area is just east of Upper and Middle Range Ponds. The bird was found shortly after 6 pm today and apparently is in sight as I write. Doug is en route (good luck!).
