Re: [Maine-birds] Chimney Swifts and stolen winter store, Bangor

One Chimney Swift was heard over Fountain Street in Bangor yesterday, and this morning there were several more circling around.  Every year a few seem to show up early, before the rest of them do.

I just had my first of year chimney swifts over my house.  The mosquitoes can't be far behind.  I wonder if they like cicadas?

This morning I put on a pair of lighter twill pants, which I had not worn since I took them off the clothesline late last fall.  I found a sunflower seed deep in one pocket.  I hope the Chickadee who left it there didn't need it.
