We had a positive ID by a home-schooled student and his science teacher dad on the hawk that likely got four of the Serama (mini) chickens at the farm. They said it was a Coopers. Our riding instructor saw "a really huge bird" chowing on a chipmunk as she rounded the edge of the woods on her way to the lower horse paddocks.
The Indian Runner ducks we're concluding fell prey to a resident fox family. Thanks to all who helped me out on this.
