My son and I went to Prout's Pond behind the driving range on Pleasant Hill Rd in Scarborough around 2pm today and found about 17 Ruddy Ducks, 3 Ring-Necked Ducks, and at least 6 Pied-Billed Grebes. All were first of fall birds for me. Probably for my son too.
There was also was a dead Double-Crested Cormorant near one of the tees. There was what appeared to be fox scat next to the bird. I did not see anything besides a few Mallards and some gulls at Grondin Pond.
Bird haahd,
Noah Gibb-Portland
