A lovely day to paddle with Glenn Hodgkins and Laurie Moody on Messalonskee Lake. Our goal was closeups of Black Terns and Sandhill Crane.
Three Sandhills flew right over us and numerous Black Terns gave us great views. In addition, 13 species of warbler were noted and three sparrows. Loons had your as did Wood Ducks. Barn Swallows are again nesting on the bridge.
