Awesome! I hope we can keep birders checking on it and see just how long it stays up there - certainly has been a cooperative bird to date.

Today, 6/13, at 11:30 am I saw the Snowy Owl in West Paris. It was perching on and flying between power poles on Rte 26 located about 1 mile south of Trapp Corner (the junction of Rte 219 and 26). The landmark on the west side of the road is Mailbox #102 just south which the poles are located. But it is small and low and hard to see. A more conspicuous landmark, just north of the mailbox, also on the west side of the road, is a store that you can't miss advertising Guns Ammo and Stihl. I posted a pic on my Facebook page.
