[Maine-birds] NH gray cheeked thrush

Not a Maine bird, but since the whites are a short drive away for those of you in the Greater Portland area, thought I'd mention that I heard a gray cheeked thrush this weekend in the SAME (general) SPOT that I heard one in October. OF COURSE, it requires a little legwork to get there, but I heard it singing between Mt Eisenhower and Mt Pierce on the Crawford Path.  The view of Mt. W from Eisenhower is worth the hike anyway, and there are plenty of Bicknell's on that hike too.

Not an easy twitch, but thought I'd mention it.  It was horrible weather up there on Sunday (raw, windy, rainy) but the bird sang several times and thereby redeemed the hike!
