The Hog Island migration session was on Monhegan yesterday and today.
Highlights, yesterday one Clay-colored Sparrow, the only Spizella, Yellow-thr, Philly, Warbling, Red-eyed vireos. 3 spp. falcons
Today, birdier: Fairly bright Cerulean Warbler (ph. by Tom Johnson) at the Ice Pond, Blue Grosbeak, White-eyed V, 2 Lark Sparrows.
On the return, 6 Red-necked and 3 Horned grebes, the latter species seemingly very early.
Back on Hog Island.
