[Maine-birds] Talk by Dr. David Wingate

Hello all,

I am writing to alert you to a talk that Dr. David Wingate will give at Colby College next Thursday (Sept. 25) at 7:30 PM.  Dr. Wingate has been instrumental in rescuing the Bermuda Petrel or Cahow from the brink of extinction.

The title of his talk is "The Ghost Bird of Bermuda: the Long Road Back from Near Extinction for the Bermuda Petrel".  The talk will be given in Room 105 in the Keyes Building.  Here is a link to a map of the campus: http://www.colby.edu/visitors/campus-map/

Keyes is Building 26 on the map.  You should find plenty of convenient parking in either the Eustis Parking Lot or the Roberts Parking Lot.

I hope to see many of you there.

Best,

Herb
