A Cackling Goose was in the small field across from the entrance to the Twin Brook Rec Area on Greeley road this afternoon. Photo'd in the rain. No evidence of a white crescent at the base of the neck stocking.
An Oldsquaw was one of the few visible waterfowl species in rough conditions at Sebattus Pond earlier today. Not unheard of there, but my first. Vis off Access Road. The mass of diving ducks was present in the dead-center of the pond, and was difficult to ID or count.
