[Maine-birds] Sparrows--Portland

Hi all--

 

Saw 8+ Nelson's ST sparrows (plus several other sparrow spp.) at Stroudwater Crossing in Portland at lunch today. Take the trail from the back of the Stroudwater Crossing parking lot (behind the dumpsters) down into the marsh, and they are right there along the muddy, flooded trail which leads to the footbridge. They allow very close looks.
