[Maine-birds] Good Morning - Hermit Island / Phippsburg

Must have been a decent flight last night, judging from the bird mass at Hermit Island this morning. Nothing special, but up-tics in Song Sparrows, Am Goldfinches, and masses of juncoes along the road down the length of the peninsula, (but curiously, very few at Hermit/Head Beach). Also a freshening of Myrtle Warblers which had been dwindling, but are now up in numbers again. Plenty there to keep 2 Sharpies busy.

3 Fox Sparrows is a decent haul for this spot. Also a late E Phoebe, and a late juvie Broadwinged Hawk. .

Center Pond (Phippsburg) has building flocks of Buffleheads (42) and Ring-Necked Ducks (38).
