[Maine-birds] Ring-Necked ducks - Phippsburg

The flock of Ring-necked Ducks on Center Pond (Phippsburg) has grown to 66. Not only are they unusual at that spot, but I was surprised to see bar-charts indicating they are not present after mid-Nov in Sagadahoc Cty. (Unlike Cumberland where they can occur thru the winter.)

I scanned them carefully, looking for a Tufted Duck or whatever. Full-adult drakes are in the minority in this bunch. There is also a separate flock of ca. 40 Buffleheads in this pond. Very little mingling.
