[Maine-birds] Sabattus Pond - Nov 15

Wind was strongish out of the WNW, which is tough on my eyes. Through the tears during a brief visit today, there were at least 2 Redheads, drake and hen (possibly a 2nd hen). Reduced number of scaup; few Ring-necked Ducks, etc.

Closer to the East side of the pond (right along the shoreline) were many Mallards, one Gadwall Hen, one Am Wigeon hen, several GWTeal. A flock of 14 Com Goldeneyes (all hens) were in the NW corner, and took flight at the approach of my truck. With clearer eyes, I might have done a more thorough job. Wish I had continued on to Cobbo (report of a swan there), but I went the other way .
