Hi all,
Considering the dearth of crossbills throughout 2014, I figured it was worth reporting that we have a single female WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL at our feeders this afternoon.
Making for an unusual juxtaposition, it is feeding near an immature BALTIMORE ORIOLE that arrived this morning and has been present all day.
2 make Brown-headed Cowbirds were present earlier.
