I just scanned Mendall Marsh in Winterport, Bucksport, Penobscot Narrows, Sandy Point Beach, Fort Point Cove and Stockton Harbor with no luck. Could very easily be somewhere up toward Bangor now. I have been working nights and am about to go to bed for the day, but I would appreciate a call if someone is successful. My number is 812-one four zero seven.
Thanks and good luck if you try,
William Nichols

The bird flew off and was thought to have gone up river earlier this morning. Folks from Winterport and Bucksport might keep an eye out for the bird. If it went down river, then spots like Stockton Harbor and Searsport are good spots for a swan to stop.
