[Maine-birds] Portland CBC Redpolls

An addendum to the Greater Portland CBC report: It turns out that birders Rob O'Connell and Brendan McKay didn't find just one redpoll out on Long Island on Sunday, but 21. And, their photos of the flock include one very pale individual that looks tantalizingly like a Hoary. Although it's likely that it the bird will have to go down as a "Redpoll sp" for the count, it was a nice find--and in fact I'm not aware of any other redpolls being seen around here yet this winter.
