[Maine-birds] Dovekie - Marshall Point (Port Clyde)

A Dovekie flew along the rocky shoreline NE of Marshall Point Lighthouse today at 12:55. Disappeared in the extreme sun glare. This was after I had walked the shoreline in 2 directions, scoping the few birds present. Then when I got in my truck and left the area, I spotted the bird thru my window, lifting off the water, and zinging by. It must have been present during my walk, and been mostly submerged. Rats! I went back to the lighthouse and alerted a birding couple from MD, but don't know whether they got lucky.

Not much other fauna there: Black Guillemots, Horned Grebes, 1 Com. Eider, 4 Com Loons.
