We stopped by on Sunday for about an hour with no luck either. It was very quiet there at that time as well. We heard a crow in the distance, a smattering of chickadees in the greenery as we entered the park and a lone house finch sitting atop a pine along the road to the parking area. There were 5 Herring gulls seen in the distance over the pond. Too pretty a place to be so quiet...

Stopped by Florida Lake Park this afternoon and searched for the Townsend's solitaire without luck. It seems most of the berries are gone and wonder if it has moved on. It was very quiet there today. I only saw two white breasted nuthatches.
