[Maine-birds] Kennebunk: Western Tanager...

Pat Sanborn and I briefly viewed the Western Tanager this morning
where Day St. meets Brown St. in Kennebunk. In what must have been a
moment of luck, the bird popped out of a Northern White-cedar that was
right next to us and landed in a deciduous tree not more than 20'
away. I was only able to snap one photo before the bird headed
northwest along Day St.

According to a resident, the bird has been visiting her feeder for at
least a week. She was pleased to finally figure out what kind of bird
she'd been seeing.

My notes and photo can be seen here:

Wild wishes,
