[Maine-birds] Barrow's Goldeneyes, South Freeport, 12/31

Hi all,

Jeannette spotted the first BARROW'S GOLDENEYES of the season in the Lower Haraseekett River here in South Freeport, from the Freeport Town Wharf at the end of Pine Street in South Freeport. One adult male and one immature male are the latest "first-of-seasons" that we have recorded in the Haraseekett. No doubt they arrived in the past few days with a noticeable uptick of Common Goldeneyes around the area, thanks to the return of winter.
