Here is the hotspot link for Florida Lake, Freeport: http://ebird.org/ebird/hotspot/L191293
Parking is off Route 125 (Wardtown Road) and you will follow the trail east toward the lake. Taking the first trail on your right will take you to wooden bridge that people have been referencing. From that bridge you will be looking at the north end of the lake, where the bird has been seen. This link will show you on Google Maps the dike where the ilex is that the bird has been eating: http://tinyurl.com/qexmm99 and here is a map from the Freeport Conservation Trust of the property: http://freeportconservationtrust.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/northfreeport800.jpg
The second time I went the bird was very vocal, giving single call notes from the trees when it was not down feeding on the winterberry. You may want to familiarize yourself with that call before going, here is an example: http://www.xeno-canto.org/13953

Looking to possibly make an attempt for the Solitaire this weekend. Can anyone provide directions to the spot (at Florida Lake)?--
