While looking for unusual ducks (with no luck) in Westbrook this morning, I discovered a Hermit Thrush in the brush along the river. It seemed to be ignoring the ongoing feast just upstream, where there was a large flock of Robins, with a few Cedar Waxwings among them.
Another surprise was a Swamp Sparrow scratching around under the bushes at the last house on the left down at Seavey's Landing in Scarborough.
