[Maine-birds] Pine Grosbeaks at Sunkhaze NWR, Penobscot County, 14 Jan

Hi everyone,

I had a very pleasant and serene winter walk on the County Road yesterday. Some of the avian highlights include my first Pine Grosbeaks (18), a nicely-sized chatty flock of Common Redpolls, a couple Gray Jays, and the always hardy Red-breasted Nuthatch, Common Ravens, and Black-capped Chickadees. A beautiful day to be out.

Good birding!
