An adult Cooper's chasing rock pigeons at Rockland waterfront this morning; only a talon-full of feathers were taken on the single pass, but Cooper's do score city pigeons. I've seen no harborside peregrines so far this winter. An adult Red-shouldered monitoring a field edge on West Meadow Road. A persistent great blue heron preening and sunning itself at Weskeag.
