[Maine-birds] Surf's up at Dyer Point & Kettle Cove - all the scoters there

Was at Dyer Point right at high tide this morning,  winds were fairly strong and the surf was pounding.  Got all 3 scoters, harlequins, long-tails, common goldeneyes, horned grebe, black guillemot.  Scoped 3 Alcids flying southward a bit too far off shore to positively ID as murre or razorbill.  But the heads were definitely black, belly white and wings/back black. So i'm confident i had one of the murres or razorbill...just couldn't nail them down.  too big for dovekie.

on my way home, popped by Mill Creek to pick up my FOY Glaucous Gulls (2)  (thanks, Marie!)
