[Maine-birds] Warren village duckage

No ice in the river yet, but good numbers of ducks near the Main Street bridge. South of the bridge: 52 common mergansers, 8 hoodies, 12 common goldeneye. North of the bridge, 100+ hand-fed mallards being watched carefully from 150 feet away by two perched immature bald eagles. The daily mallard gatherings may attract an occasional green-winged teal, pintail or gadwall, more rarely a wintering wood duck. At Weskeag this morning, a sun-seeking  great blue heron huddled up at a woods margin.
