[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights This Week, 11/28-12/4.

Hi all,

Just a handful more sightings of note from me over the past seven days included:

- 639 Canada Geese, this week's high count in the "Greater Yarmouth Goose Fields" on 11/28 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 1 male Red-winged Blackbird, feeders here at the store, 11/28.

- 1 GRAY CATBIRD, 1 Common Grackle, 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers, Bailey Island, Harpswell, 11/29 (with clients).

- 1 Swamp Sparrow, Crescent Beach State Park, Cape Elizabeth, 12/4.

- 1 continuing GRASSHOPPER SPARROW, Dyer Point, Cape Elizabeth, 12/4.

- 1 Swamp Sparrow, Village Crossings, Cape Elizabeth, 12/4.

- a significant influx of American Goldfinches moved into the area this week, hopefully a harbinger of winter finchiness.
