[Maine-birds] Great Blue Heron, Skowhegan

Saw one Great Blue Heron flying south over the Hannaford parking lot in Skowhegan today at 1545.

Pond on Cold Brook nearby is frozen over as are other small ponds and marshes in this area, so perhaps it was coming from some open water along Wesserunsett Lake or its outlet in Madison. Just conjecture on my part.
