Kristen Lindquist, Jeannette, and I enjoyed another productive day of birding the "Moody Territory" for the York County Christmas Bird Count in the drizzle and fog yesterday. Highlights included:
- 1 CLAY-COLORED SPARROW, Huckleberry St, Wells. Refound and phone-binned on Cranberry St. (2nd Count Record).
- 1 BALTIMORE ORIOLE, Huckleberry St. Horrendously phone-binned photos (5th count record).
- 1 continuing DICKCISSEL, The Sweatshirt Shop outlet, Rte 1, Wells (6th count record).
- 21 Lesser Scaup, fly-bys in three small flocks during Moody Point dawn seawatch (5th count record; previous high count of 1).
