[Maine-birds] Re: ROGU help, please

The geese have been in the field near the school but on the opposite side of the street.  The problem is that there is a gully into which they can virtually disappear some ways back of the field.  Generally you need a spotting scope if they are at the back side of the field and patience if they are moving in and out of that gully.  Good luck.  I haven't found anything but the usual suspects this year, either.  Calien

Greetings, birding friends! Several times now I've cruised the fields along Stroudwater St. looking for the Ross's Goose at times of day when others have recently had the bird — and have yet to see a goose, a duck, a gull, a crow or even a starling in any of the fields. It's like the whole area has been crop-dusted with Bird-Be-Gone.

Any helpful guidance — not to mention further reports! — will be much appreciated.

Peace & good birding,
Scott Cronenweth
