[Maine-birds] White-winged Dove - Prospect, 12/1-13

Hey everyone:

Passing along a report of a WHITE-WINGED DOVE that has been visiting feeders in Prospect since 1 December.

Here are some requests that I got from the homeowner, Diane Terry:

The bird usually comes in to the feeders (and trees) around 9:00AM and leaves by 2:00PM so please limit visits to that timeframe. Birders are welcome to visit beginning today (Sunday, 13 December) "through the remainder of the week, or until [it] departs."

"All feeders are visible from the road and folks may park along the road, perhaps staying on the west side of the road." The address is 310 Blanket Lane in Prospect, and her "house is very close to the road making the feeders quite visible."
