Re: [Maine-birds] Canvasback at Sabasticook Lake

Both the male Canvasback and the female Gadwall were still present this morning around 9:00.

Hello everyone,

Jerry Smith found a breeding plumaged male Canvasback on the 5 of December (yesterday) at Sebasticook Lake, and a fair number of people, including myself, were looking for it today. It was still present at the West end of the lake where the Franklin's Gull was often seen a few weeks ago. Also there was a female Gadwall there, a nice addition to the Canvasback!

Good birding,
Kyle
