Bill and I saw a similar phenomenon in Baltimore county a month ago. I assumed they were grackles but I'm excited that they may have been crows!

Every year, I am blown away by the crows around Waterville. I drove two miles south of exit 127 on 95 and, for two miles, crows were flying parallel to the highway before I finally lost track of the flock. Based on the crows flying overhead IN Waterville before getting on 95, I wouldn't be surprised if the flock extended at least 3 miles. Amazing.--
