Visitors:
13 people visited the hawkwatch.

Weather:
Winds were northerly for most of the day, with overcast skies. Visibility improved as the day progressed. It was a bit chilly on the mountain due to the cloud cover, but winds were light to moderate.

Raptor Observations:
Compared to recent days the count was a bit slow, but numbers were still good for late March. The majority of migrating raptors were Turkey Vultures, along with a few Bald Eagles and Red-shouldered Hawks. Resident Turkey Vultures were also milling around quite a bit today, especially near Eagle Island.

Non-raptor Observations:
Species diversity was good today, with 21 bird species observed from Bradbury Mountain. A little push of migrating robins occurred, mostly during the morning hours. Small flocks of Canada Geese came through mainly in the afternoon. Species deemed migrating:           45 Canada Geese                          40 American Robins                        7 passerine sp.                                6 Common Mergansers                   6 finch sp.                                        3 Pine Siskins                                  3 Purple Finches                               2 Red-winged Blackbirds                 1 American Goldfinch                      1 Common Grackle

Predictions:
Snow showers and freezing rain predicted throughout the day may cause an off-and-on count tomorrow. Temperatures will be around freezing. Combined with east northeast winds, these conditions are likely to slow down the count.
