[Maine-birds] Ring-necks, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Woodcock

Hi all -- Had an audible Red-bellied Woodpecker this morning as I was about to enter Bucksport High School. Heard it "churr" 3 times in succession, off to the west.

61 Ring-necked Ducks and a pair of Hoodies in the Naramissic River in Orland (just north of Rte 1 on the dead-end spur road), ~ 3pm.

And tonight I took a walk just before dark at Seawall Campground / Seawall Road: 3 peenting Am. Woodcock. I know I'm late to the Woodcock dance this spring, but these were my first.

Best,
Craig K
