[Maine-birds] Sandhill Crane, MDI

Bill Townsend's Sandhill Crane was visible from the Schooner Head Road this evening ~5, but a scope was essential. The partial one-car pull-off is beside the marsh outlet that runs under Schooner Head Road just prior to the Anemone Cave park road junction. My wife and I scanned the marsh looking from this vantage point toward Champlain Mtn.

Also today, in SW Harbor, FOY Brown-headed Cowbird, N. Flicker in the yard, and 2 White-winged Crossbills in the Park (gated) section of Seal Cove Road.

Thanks to Bill and Rich!
