A pair of Savannah Sparrows were on my lawn just now, combing the grass and then posing in a small tree. They gave a sharp, high "tsip" sound before flying off.
At the Audubon property in Bremen this morning, we had good looks at a singing Brown Creeper, heard two Winter Wrens, and observed a flock of Surf Scoters, among other usual suspects.
