[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights and New Arrivals, 3/26-4/1

Hi all,

Sightings of note for me over the past seven days included:
- 4 Fox Sparrows are now present at our home feeders in Pownal through week's end.
- 5 Bohemian Waxwings here at the store on 3/26.
- 28 Sanderlings, Reid State Park, 3/27 (with Jeannette).
~200 Bohemian Waxwings, I-95N, just north of Exit 109 in Augusta, 3/29 (with Jeannette).
- 98 Ring-necked Ducks, Carlton Pond, Troy, 3/29 (with Jeannette).
- 1 adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, intersection of Rte 3 and Church Hill Road, Augusta, 3/29 (with Jeannette).
- 15 Bohemian Waxwings here at the store on 3/29 (fide Sam Albright). 
- 10 Bohemian Waxwings, Bradbury Mountain Hawkwatch, 3/31.

Personal First-of-Years were as followed:
- 2 American Kestrels, Bradbury Mountain Hawkwatch, 3/26.
- 1 Winter Wren, Maquoit Bay Conservation Land, Brunswick, 3/28 (with Jeannette).
- 1 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Bradbury Mountain Hawkwatch, 3/31.
- 2 Tree Swallows, Bradbury Mountain Hawkwatch, 3/31.

And finally, I made two visits to Simpson's Point in Brunswick this week to sift through and enjoy the exceptional numbers of diving ducks that continue. I wrote a short blog, including counts from each day:
