Gary Gulezian and I did the census. The morning was sunny and calm: great for birding. Guillemots (14) have appeared in the bay and harbor, as they usually do in the fall. Double-crested Cormorants and Osprey have not yet left. Highlights of the day were an adult Peregrine Falcon on the water pipe just below the deck of the Rt 1 bridge and an immature Yellow-crowned Night Heron spotted by Gary near the High Street Bridge over the Passagassawakeag River.
