[Maine-birds] Biddeford Pool, 9/11 (MAGO, YCNH, AMOY, LBBG, etc)

Hi all,
A very productive day of birding around Biddeford Pool with clients visiting from North Carolina - interrupted only by brunch as the line of thunderstorms blew through - included the following highlights:
- 4 continuing juvenile YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS, Great Pond. One later seen behind "Hattie's" in The Pool.
- 2 Red-necked Grebes, Ocean Avenue (one continuing bird).
- 1 continuing juvenile MARBLED GODWIT, The Pool - first from behind "Hatties" and then from the Park in the Pines in Hill's Beach.
- 1 continuing family group (2 ad, 2 juv) of AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHERS, Hill's Beach.
- 12 Red Knots, Hill's Beach
- 1 adult LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, Hill's Beach.
- 1 Cliff Swallow, Hill's Beach

Little Egret was not a "target bird," so I did not go out of my way to check every small white egret. Of those we saw, all were Snowies.

-Derek
