Hi all -- had a nice long look at a Barn Swallow this morning, my FOY. It was in the meadow / septic field next to the Seawall Warden's residence (next to the Campground), circling for insects before continuing its migration. Also along this road, a Sharpie and a singing Swamp Sparrow.
-- Also at Bass Harbor Marsh, 9 immature Bald Eagles were in the marsh grass, scoping from the road toward Western Mountain. One group of two, one group of four, and the rest singles. A female N. Pintail was closer to the road, along with Hoodies, Common Mergs and a Great Blue Heron.
Best,
Craig
